Summer Cake Camp 2026
Cake Camp Program, Ages: 9 – 14 years old
Daily Camp Times:
Drop-off: 9:30 A.M.
Pick–up: 4:00 P.M
Please arrive 5- 10 minutes before the end of class to pickup your child.
Our summer cake camp is not like any other camp your child has ever attended.
If your child loves to bake, wants to help you when you’re in the kitchen and loves all the cake decorating shows on TV, our camp is the perfect fit. This is a hands on fun learning edible camp.
We will have a variety of hands on classes: baking, decorating, food safety, etc. The best part is that every day your child will be able to take home their creations. Our main focus is to inspire your child, their love of baking and the art of cake decorating.
Some of the activities your child will be doing each week include:

Learning how to measure, torte, fill, and crumb coat cakes

Decorating cupcakes

Making and decorating Cake Pops

Baking & decorating Cookies with fondant & Royal Icing

Creating various edible toppers, pastries, and sweet treats

Your child will learn each step of the cake construction and decorating process. We will focus on a variety of skills, including how to use and operate baking, cake, and treat-making tools & equipment. They will learn how to prepare piping bags properly, measure fondant, and use a variety of sculpting tools. Kids will learn how to construct the cake they baked every step of the way - bake, level, fill, crumb coat, fondant, and decorate.
These are 3-day courses held on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

Fantasy Fun – Cost $475.00
Mermaids and Unicorns are both amazing creatures! ... Mermaids reckon that they’re better than unicorns, as they can live on both land and in the sea. ... Unicorns have rubbished that idea and argue that they have magical powers and look like a really cool horse. In this session, we will create edible versions of these lovely fantasy fanatics.

Dessert Imposters – Cost $525.00
Not everything is as it seems. That's our focus for the dessert imposter class. Your children will enjoy creating these "fake-out" foods like burgers, tacos, pizza etc. However it will actually be desserts masquerading as some of our favorite comfort & savory foods.

Fancy Party Desserts - Cost $575.00
During this class we will create to fun and fancy edible sweet dessert that will help make an awesome dessert table display. Want to make some basketball themed treats? How about creating purse, shoes or sneaker treats? Then this class is for you.

Online Registration & Payment
The camp will be held at Sweet Confections Cakes, located at 4702 Fritchey St., Colonial Park (Harrisburg) -17109.
You can sign your child up to attend one, two, or all three sessions. Each session, we will teach different designs & techniques.
Our camp's primary focus is to inspire your child to use their imagination, express themselves artistically, and develop their creativity, all while having fun!
Your child should bring lunch and a small morning snack, each day the children will take home the pastries and sweets they have made.
We have a maximum capacity of 10 children in each session and a minimum of 5 students per session.
So hurry up and reserve your spot.
REFUND POLICY:
Cancellation Policy
A cancellation/withdrawal processing fee of $75 per session if cancelled at least one calendar month before the first day of your child’s camp. NO EXCEPTIONS WILL BE MADE. No refunds, credits, or camp rescheduling will be allowed for cancellations made after this time.
Cancellations made less than one month prior to the camp will receive Absolutely NO refund. Any and ALL monies paid will be forfeited if you give less than a 30-day (1-month) cancellation. You may, however, transfer your child’s tuition and spot to another child.
ABSENCE / CANCELLATION / NO SHOW
Absences, withdrawals, no-shows, or early dismissals/late arrivals will not be eligible for refunds, transfers, or make-ups.
SICK POLICY
Your child will be sent home if he exhibits any of the following symptoms: high fever (101°F or higher), Red eyes(Pink Eye), vomiting, diarrhea, severe cough, or difficulty breathing.
Refunds will not be issued for days missed.
DISCIPLINARY ISSUES
Disruption of training, fighting, hitting, and defiance will not be tolerated. 1st incident, the parent will be called, and a written disciplinary note will require the parent's signature. For the 2nd incident, the parent will be asked to come pick up the child, and a 2nd disciplinary note will require the parent's signature. 3rd incident: the child will not be allowed to return to camp and will not be eligible for transfer, makeup, or a refund.
Allergy Notice:
The Summer Camp courses held at Sweet Confections Cakes, Inc. are NOT an allergy-safe environment. If your child has food allergies, please keep this in mind, as this might not be the best environment depending on the type and severity of the allergy.
Special Needs:
Please let us know of any special needs your child may have prior to registering for a class and/or camp.
