Our sophisticated event suite located in the Colonial Park area of Harrisburg provides event space for Birthday Parties, Bridal Showers, Micro Weddings, Baby Showers, Graduation Parties, rehearsal dinners and can also host a Girls Night out Event. The perfect Venue when an intimate setting is required. The Event Suite is located within the West Wing of Sweet Confections Cakes and conveniently located only 3 miles from the State Capitol.
We know there is more to event facilitation than the venue, so for those who desire an elaborate Pinterest worthy setup we offer a comprehensive event planning package that can be added to the rental fee for an all inclusive show up and party event. The Event Suite is also home to Harrisburg's Award Winning Bakery - Sweet Confections Cakes.

Rent The Event Suite at Sweet Confections for your next event. We allow 5 hours at the pricing below, you can also Pay for a full day Rental or pay hourly after 5 hours. Each additional hour is $95.00. Our venue will accommodate a maximum of 50 people.
DIY Basic = Room rental (this is a do it yourself package) does not include chair covers, linens, center pieces, etc... this Room rental ONLY. Includes chairs and round or long tables... You setup, decorate and cleanup.

Platinum Package = ALL inclusive complete setup, includes everything EXCEPT the actual food and drinks. Includes a themed Tiered Cake (or Dessert package). Linens/table covers, table centerpieces, charger plates, high quality disposable plates, napkins, utensils, PLUS we set-up and cleanup. You can upscale your event by adding Chiavari Chairs, Mirrored Serpentine table, Wedding Arch, Throne Chair, Tent for cocktail hour. Having a fun event, did you consider adding live characters, posed stationary characters, a Champagne Wall, Slushy Machine, Popcorn maker, Bounce House, we even have a Bridal Suite and more. Wedding & Reception Package = When having both the wedding and reception you are required to purchase the Wedding/Reception Package which includes Complimentary Bridal Suite, Setup as well as transformation from the Wedding to the Reception. With the Wedding & Reception package the Facility will ensure the event gets started on time (as long as all participants are on site) so that you may end on time without incurring additional late fees. Additionally, you are not charged extra fees for items such as Shimmer Wall, Payette Curtain backdrop, Cocktail tables, non-heated tent rental (weather permitted Heated tent is EXTRA.), etc. This is a stress free event. No stress finding vendors for design and setup, coordinating vendors or even having to purchase decorations for your special day. Sit back relax and let us handle it. You select your caterer, and provide the drinks (including ice and alcohol) we will handle the rest. If you have decorations you already purchased and would like us to incorporate those decorations, no problem. Just keep in mind we will not purchase those items NOR will be discount the pricing based on decorations you already purchased.
No, you can NOT purchase the DIY package and expect to set-up everything, host your wedding, cocktail hour, reception and cleanup all within 5hours, let's be realistic, you know it is NOT possible and will end up costing you far more than the price of the Wedding & Reception package. Remember the Platinum Wedding & Reception package includes the bridal suite, the tent, complete set-up as well as cleanup.
Starts at $2700.00 up to 50 people
Your caterer (you, if not using a Caterer) is responsible for set-up, display, and cleanup of their own items. We do NOT provide a kitchen, chafing dishes, heating/cooling sources, etc. that is your responsibility. Be sure to bring large serving spoons, tongs, etc.
All food must come prepared as we do NOT have a prep area, refrigeration or cooking area.
