Exciting New Flavors at Our Cake Tasting Event

A Record-Breaking Turnout

On January 18th, we hosted our 1st Quarter Cake Tasting, and it was truly a day to remember.


We were absolutely thrilled to welcome a full house. In fact, this was our highest attendance since before COVID! We reached a record high of 30 attendees. Seeing so many new and familiar faces in our shop brought such a wonderful energy to the room. It feels amazing to be back in full swing, sharing our passion for baking with such a lively crowd.


One of the best parts of this growth is that we have been pushed to create and introduce several new products to offer our clients.




Testing New Waters (and Flavors!)

While we love our classics, we used this tasting to unveil some of our newest additions and test products. Based on the empty plates and happy smiles, we think we have some winners on our hands.


  • Our Take on Tres Leches: We debuted our version of the classic Tres Leches (Three Milk Cake). It is rich, creamy, and moist without being overly heavy. It was a massive hit with the crowd, and we are excited to see this become a new favorite.


  • The Showstopper: Bizcocho Dominicano: This was a special milestone for us. It was our very first time creating an authentic Dominican Cake (Bizcocho Dominicano), and the pressure was on! We are proud to report that it came out perfectly—incredibly light, airy, and buttery. It was so delicious that the entire sample cake was eaten down to the last crumb! Attendees kept coming back for seconds (and thirds), proving that this new addition is here to stay.


  • The Italian Millefoglie Wedding Cake: Finally, we introduced the Italian Millefoglie. This is a popular, visually stunning Italian dessert featuring layers of crisp puff pastry, creamy filling (like pastry cream or Chantilly), and fresh berries, all dusted with powdered sugar. It is the perfect blend of crunch and cream.


A Cozy & Delicious Experience

As promised, our cake tasting event went above and beyond just the new items. We offered 15 different cake flavors (not including the new additions!), along with lots of mousse fillings, fruit fillings, and icings for everyone to mix, match, and enjoy.


Since it was a very cold, snowy day, we wanted to make sure everyone stayed warm, so we brought out the Hot Cocoa. And for those looking for a little sparkle, our Mimosa Bar was a huge success as usual!


Looking Ahead

Our cake tasting event was not just about tasting. It was a celebration of flavors and community. We are committed to continuously improving our offerings. Your feedback is invaluable. It helps us grow and ensures we keep bringing you the most delicious confections in town.
